Goodfish Lab
We work on fish, and how fish work.
We are a fish physiology lab at the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies in nipaluna/Hobart, run by Dr Harriet Goodrich. We use experimental biology to answer questions important to fish conservation, aquaculture production, and fisheries.
Current focus
Since 2024 the lab has led the experimental component of the $4.19M FRDC Sand Flathead Recovery Program, and contributes to the Blue Economy CRC Experimental Platforms for Aquaculture Production.
